Our International Partners
Learning Together is an increasingly international community. As an international community, we are interested in differences in socio-political and cultural realities (both within and beyond national borders), and how these differences may shape the particular nature of partnership working, and its challenges, possibilities and impacts. We enlivened by diverse international histories and literatures. We understand collaboration and a commitment to shared values to be essential in advancing policy, practice and research towards our shared common goal of ‘education as the practice of freedom’.
Learning Together is proud to support and collaborate with:
- The Ubuntu Learning Community – Stellenbosch University and Brandvlei Prison, South Africa, led by Dr Mary Nel
- Universidad Loyola Andalucía, and Centro Penitenciario Sevilla, Spain, led by Dr Esther Montero Pérez de Tudela
- University of Southern Denmark, and Søbysøgård prison, Denmark, led by Linda Kjaer Minke
