Many of you may know Rebecca, who worked as part of our administrative team in Cambridge. Rebecca’s passion for the creative arts, and their capacity to bring people together and build community, led her to apply to the Arts Council for funding to take forward the ethos of Learning Together in a creative context. Happily, and after a great deal of hard work, Rebecca’s application for funding was successful and, over the last six months or so she has been pioneering a new collaborative, creative programme with HMP Springhill called ‘Drawing Connections’.
Last week saw the culmination of the Drawing Connections programme at HMP Springhill with the team who have worked together presenting the work that they have created, across all sorts of media and art forms during the course.
Rebecca has been blogging about her work and the course at the Springhill. Her blogs include some wonderful photographs of the art work that the group have produced together so do take a look.
